Welcome! His True Image comes from my name, Veronica. In Latin, it means vera icon or “true image.” I pray that God grant me the grace and strength to live out His plan and to truly live a life in His true image!
I’m a Catholic wife and mother to three little miracles: Baby Girl (2009), Hermoso (2011), and Chiquita (2014). An early childhood special education teacher turned stay at home mom (SAHM), I’m about to embark on a homeschooling journey! You can generally find me singing, listening to music, running after my kiddos, cleaning up like a lunatic, guzzling H2O, or visiting my mommy (we live on the same street)!
I’m starting this blog to share my simple, yet beautiful life in the hopes of inspiring myself and others to sanctify our ordinary lives to achieve the extraordinary!
“How many mothers have you known who have been the heroines of some epic or extraordinary event? Few, very few. Yet you and I know many mothers who are indeed heroic, truly heroic, who have never figured in anything spectacular, who will never hit the headlines, as they say. They lead lives of constant self-denial, happy to curtail their own likes and preferences, their time, their opportunities for self-expression or success, so that they can carpet their children’s lives with happiness.” (St. Josemaria Escriva, Friends of God, 134)
